OUR EDUCATIONAL TEAM

1. Our Head Teacher
One of Indonesian nationality responsible for the validity of all assessments and reports concerning your
children per Indonesian laws and regulations. She also is responsible for the excellent communication with
all our Indonesian teachers and assistants. She must ensure that each student’s progress is appropriately
assessed, recorded, reported and supported. She must also ensure that the school meets all Indonesian
legal and regulatory requirements.
One of foreigner nationality, responsible for our Curriculum and its correct application, under the English
National Curriculum ( EYFS). She must determine, implement and follow the relevant studies. Among
other things, she is responsible for its relevance, its accuracy, and its regular updating. She must also
monitor and evaluate the quality of learning and teaching at school and implement appropriate initiative
developments.
As the leading team, they are responsible for encouraging the entire teaching staff to engage in continuous
professional development through the promotion of learning and support for the development of students.
They ensure that the personnel evaluation framework is rigorously conducted, inspire, motivate, advise
and, if necessary, discipline the staff. They must also ensure the maintenance of good order and conduct
at all times when the students are in the care of the school. In cooperation with school Directors, they
formulate, develop and review the overall objectives and values of the school and implement then monitor
the effectiveness of policies and procedures intended to achieve it. They must ensure that school property,
buildings, grounds and equipment are used correctly, safely, efficiently and effectively.

2. Our teachers
All our teachers are recruited subject to having an education qualification related to education and/or a
certificate in early childhood education. They must have previous experience of several years to a similar
position, and all have to meet the national educational requirements. They must all show a positive attitude
of trust, respect and acceptance of child(ren), and an appreciation of their total development. We make
sure that all of our teachers are dedicated and committed to your child’s learning and development. These
qualities are necessary so that we can offer a favourable and receptive environment.
It is essential for the UKC to recruit teachers with an extensive knowledge base to be able to draw the
necessary resources for teaching with multiple contents and levels. It is also essential that our teachers
understand how students learn, and that the learning process should be seen as an integrated whole,
rather than the sum of many parts. They must allow each student to feel valued, show skills for observing
verbal and non-verbal behaviour, ability to assess students based on these observations, and the ability to
respond appropriately to any situation. They follow the lesson plans defined by the school, following the
Curriculum chosen by the school. They are in accord with the school’s vision and mission.

3. Our assistant teachers
Our assistant teachers are the primary help of our classroom teachers. They must all possess an education
qualification related to education and/or a certificate in early childhood education. Often, one or two
assistants work with the leading teacher to provide the individual attention that young children need. They
help with educational activities, supervise children who play, and help with feeding and other necessary
care. Teachers and teacher assistants work hand in hand and meet daily to discuss lesson plans and its
application, student development and progress, so that instruction is delivered appropriately, and that the
assessments and reports given to parents be precise and relevant.

4. Our babysitters
In all classes with young children in the process of learning to be clean, and which generally requires more
attention at all times, we employ qualified babysitters. They must have previous experience working with
children with a variety of needs. In cooperation with teachers and assistant teachers, they participate in
children’s development and make things fun and exciting for the smallest ones. In particular, they make
