Clumsy Turtle (1 – 2 years)

Welcome to Umalas Kids Club, where our British Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum nurtures the holistic development of children aged 1 to 2 years old.

Personal, Social, and Emotional Development: Children build secure relationships through free play and guided activities, fostering resilience, confidence, and self-assurance. They learn to socialize, express feelings, and understand concepts of ownership.

Communication and Language Development: Through storytelling, songs, and circle time activities, children express themselves with new words and begin forming 2-word sentences. They develop vocabulary, understanding stories, and sharing information.

Physical Development: Gross and fine motor activities enhance balancing, coordination, and motor skills. Children learn to walk, run, manipulate objects, and explore different food textures during meal times.

Literacy: Exposure to storybooks, songs, and poems cultivates a love for reading and language. Children learn vocabulary, build 2-word sentences, and develop early literacy skills.

Mathematics: Children explore numbers, shapes, and cause-and-effect relationships through songs, rhymes, and daily activities. They count, recognize shapes, and begin to classify objects.

Understanding the World: Children discover and understand their environment through hands-on exploration. They observe people, animals, and objects, and are introduced to age-appropriate digital applications.

Expressive Arts and Design: Children express themselves through art, music, and role-play activities, fostering creativity, imagination, and social skills within a group setting.
